About Riquiqui
Riquiqui (pronounced Ri.Ki.Ki.) means tiny in French and is the concept
behind an intimate dessert bar offering delectable desserts as served in the
world’s top restaurants. The bar is built around an open kitchen where guests
can watch their desserts being plated personally by our chef. Inspired by
everything delicious, Riquiqui offers tantalizing desserts that tempt the senses
and sweeten the mood. By using only the finest and freshest ingredients, we
strive to create the highest quality desserts. The Prix Fixe menu includes 3
small courses: an amuse-bouche, your choice of a dessert entrée, and a trio of
petits fours. The menu also suggests drink pairings to accompany your menu.
About the Chef
Amanda M. Cheng is the sole chef of Riquiqui. She is a graduate of the
prestigious Culinary Institute of America, where she obtained top honors in the
associate degree program in baking and pastry arts. While living in New York
City, Amanda landed a coveted internship at Park Avenue restaurant and worked
under the James Beard award winning chef, Richard Leach. Amanda then moved to
Los Angeles where she honed her skills in French pastries and confections while
working at Chef David Myers’ Boule Atelier. She then headed to Vancouver, Canada
to become the Pastry Chef of Fraîche restaurant.
